Craft Beer Heaven in Ilsan: Brew house The Table (브루하우스 더 테이블)
Sometimes you just need a good craft beer, right?
Last night I was watching TV, and suddenly every channel seemed to be featuring local breweries — so I figured, it’s time to finally share my go-to spot in Ilsan.
Let me introduce you to Brewhouse The Table (브루하우스 더 테이블) — a hidden gem for German-style craft beer lovers!
① Restaurant Name
Brew house The Table (브루하우스 더 테이블)
② Address
504, Baekma-ro, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do
경기 고양시 일산동구 백마로 504
③ Why It’s Worth the Hype
Located in the basement of a Kia dealership near Baekma-ro, it’s not somewhere you’d expect to find a cozy craft beer bar. I actually discovered it by chance while visiting an auto service center nearby!
It turns out it’s already famous among Ilsan locals for its house-brewed beers — and once I tried it, I totally understood the hype.
④ Ambience & Vibe
We arrived a bit early in the evening, which meant the space was nearly empty — perfect for snapping some photos!
The space is warm and inviting with long communal tables, making it great for groups. Honestly, I even thought, “This would be such a cool place for a post-wedding party!” (Don’t ask why I’m planning someone else’s wedding when I’m already married…)
Oh — and before 7 PM? Buy 1, Get 1 Free beers. Yes, really.
We didn’t even know about the deal, so it felt like a lucky surprise!
They also offer take-home beer in plastic bottles, which made us think: next camping trip, we’re definitely grabbing some here first.
⑤ Beer & Food Highlights
Since they specialize in German-style craft beer, we naturally ordered their German sausage platter — what else?
Then came the beer selection…
We opted for a 7-glass sampler to try a bit of everything before picking our favorites.
Honestly, I lost track of what was what, but I remember names like:
Happy Weizen
Pine Pilsner
Goyang Pale Ale
The Table IPA
Nugget Ale
If you like Hoegaarden, you’ll probably love Happy Weizen — it’s smooth and wheaty.
Want something with a bit more bite? Go for Pine Pilsner.
As for the sausages? So good.
They come sliced (I may have been too excited and chopped them all up immediately…) along with garlic, onions, pineapple, and potatoes — everything grilled and sizzling.
The default side is popcorn, which is refillable. Some nights it’s perfectly crunchy, others it gets a bit soft — but honestly, we kept eating it anyway.
⑥ How to Get There
It’s located in Ilsan’s Pungsan-dong, in a quieter area of the city, inside the basement of the Kia building on Baekma-ro.
Not exactly a place you’d stumble upon — unless you’re in the know.
So now you are!
