① Restaurant Name
Bodol Miyeok – Unjeong Branch (보돌미역 운정점)
② Address
968, Gyeongui-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do (920, Yadang-dong)

③ Why It’s Worth the Hype
Hey there, foodies! Today, I’m super excited to tell you about an amazing little spot I recently discovered called Bodol Miyeok (보돌미역 운정점). Even though it says “Unjeong branch,” it’s conveniently close to Tanhyeon and Deogi-dong in Ilsan, making it easy to reach if you’re nearby.
④ Ambiance & Vibe
I was running errands near Juyeop Station and decided to treat myself to lunch. Lucky me—I finished early, right at prime lunchtime! Usually, I avoid crowded places, but my hunger took charge, and thankfully, there were still a few tables available. Yay!
The restaurant immediately won me over with its cozy vibe and walls decorated with celebrity autographs. Clearly, Bodol Miyeok is already gaining fans, even though it’s relatively new. I noticed private rooms as well—perfect for gatherings or family meals!
⑤ Food Highlights
Now, let’s talk food—my favorite part! Bodol Miyeok offers a delightful selection of Korean comfort food, including individual seaweed soups, set menus, and full-course meals. I almost went for the abalone and flatfish miyeokguk (seaweed soup), but the braised pollock (Kodaeri Jjim) was calling my name.
I opted for the Kodaeri Jjim Set Menu, and wow—best decision ever! The braised pollock was incredibly flavorful with the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory. Honestly, every bite had me saying “wow!”
The set came with a delicious mini clam-based seaweed soup. Don’t be fooled by “mini”—it was perfectly portioned and incredibly rich, made with premium seaweed from Gijang, simmered to a dreamy, milky perfection. Honestly, it’s among the best seaweed soups I’ve tasted.
And there was more! Ordering two or more sets gets you a bonus grilled pollack, another delightful surprise. Fresh and flaky, it paired perfectly with all the yummy side dishes. Speaking of sides—the radish in the braised pollock was life-changing! I’m usually not a big radish fan, but trust me, it was heavenly. A true “rice thief”—you’ll want extra rice just to soak up the delicious sauce!
⑥ How to Get There
Bodol Miyeok (운정점) is located right on the border of Deogi-dong, Tanhyeon, and Unjeong.
If you’re looking for a great value Korean set menu, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

⑨ Final Thoughts
Honestly, Bodol Miyeok was so good that even though I wasn’t super hungry when I got there, I couldn’t stop eating. No regrets! 😋 I wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re in the area—perfect for dine-in or takeout, especially if you need delicious seaweed soup for a special occasion.
